Robert's Birthday Lunch

On May 14, we had a lunch celebration for Robert's birthday at SMD Singapore office.

SMD Shah Alam Annual Lunch

For 2008, SMD Shah Alam did not join SMD JB and Singapore at their Annual Dinner and Dance held in JB. Instead they had their lunch at the Sun & Surf Cafe, Sunway Lagoon.

Christmas Celebration at SMD Singapore

SMD Singapore celebrated Christmas Day on 24 Dec 2008. Since this is also the final event for the year, a token of appreciation was given to members of the Organising Committee .

October-December Birthday Party

SMD Singapore had a birthday party for those born in the months October to December on 5 December, 2008 at 3.30pm.

Company Dinner 2008

For 2008, a combined JB and Singapore Annual Dinner was held on 29 November in JB. Kulim and Shah Alam did not join due to the long travelling distance. Visit SMD Dinner 2008 for the videos.

SMD Singapore had a makan-makan trip to Johor on 29 November, 2008 to coincide with the annual Company dinner held in Johor Bahru for this year.

There were 26 of us including friends leaving Singapore from Tai Seng at 7.00am. Our itinery includes visiting the mushroom farm, an organic farm, a traditional noodle-making factory and a sweet potato farm.

Our visit ended at 4.00pm and we had to leave Yong Peng for Johor Bahru then. The video tells more about the visits.

India Visit 2008

This year's visit to SMD Bangalore and Chennai was from 13 - 18 October, 2008. Besides the visits to the factory, we also paid a visit to Annadurai and MGR Memorial Parks. Thereafter we visited St Thomas Basilica located at the southern edge of Chennai CBD. You may click here India Visit 2008 to view the videos.
