Christmas comes early for SMD Singapore. We had our Christmas party on 19 December 2006 to accomodate employees going on holidays prior to the days leading to Christmas. It was a day to remember for those living in low lying areas. Singapore received its highest rainfall in 75 years on that day. The rain had started the day earlier and continued the second day with even more and heavier rainfall. Some low lying areas along Thomson Road was flooded up to waist high.
The party must go on. Nobody in SMD Singapore was affected by the flood. The picture shows the gifts for exchange among the employees.
The food on display. There was still no news from Johor Bahru as 6 of them were supposed to join us for the party.

Lunch must start even though the Johor people have not arrived. Anyway, none of them turned up. Johor was hit by the highest rainfall in 100 years on that day. Many areas in Johor were flooded. Some employees of SMD Techtronics left Johor office at 5.30pm but arriving home 6.00am the next day. In the picture, from left: Jenny, Irene, Ivy, Wai Kwok and Clara.

We celebrated their birthdays on 11 January 2007. Noorjhan, Jocelyn, Wai Kwok and Ramesh were born on these 2 months.
Ramesh represented the others in cutting the cake.
